Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

Reporting to the duty Supervisor as assigned from time to time and under the supervision of the responsible Senior Technician, the Technician I will carry out and complete the tasks as may be instructed, including operating of equipment, connecting and disconnecting of pipelines, loading arms and hoses, checking and monitoring of instrument reading, and other related tasks. Incumbents will work under direct or immediate supervision of the Supervisor and/or Senior Technician as may be assigned in different area of operations while learning the job tasks, progressing to general supervision as procedures and processes of assigned area of responsibility are learned.
- Under the supervision of Senior Technician or Supervisor, assist to execute processes and/or operate equipment of the assigned area to maintain or complete the process flow such as collecting and processing samples, dipping/measuring tank level, making connection or disconnection of pipelines, loading arms and/or hoses, operating the slop tank in association with the Corrugated Plate Interceptor (CPI), checking and/or recording temperature and pressure, and any other operations related tasks as may be instructed from time to time so as to learn the job tasks.
- Follow the operations procedure to deliver safe, reliable operations and comply with company regulations.
- Co-ordinate with CCR, ticketing staff and others to ensure all the clientsโ requirements and instructions are carried out in accordance with terminal operating procedures and parameters.
- Monitor tank levels, product temperatures and pressures, including observing readings on field instruments, documenting key readings and information and making appropriate adjustments as necessary or instructed.
- Understanding and adhering to all safety, sanitation, hygiene and environmental policies and procedures.
- Assist in coordinating for incident investigation and reporting as and when required.
- Ensure operational records are documented and correctly filled in.
- Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings and completing of assignments.
- Report to and seek advice from the Supervisor and/or Senior Technician on any operational issues.
- Perform housekeeping and ensure the work area is neat and clean at all times.
- Timely reporting of any malfunction of equipment and instrument.
- Achieve Key Performance Index set out by the management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Technical certificate or High School.
- At least one year experience in the same capacity as an operations Technician, preferably in oil and gas industry.
- Experience in terminal operations, including ullaging of barge or vessel, establishing loaded or unloaded figures.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Work collaboratively with fellow employees and others to achieve identified goals and objectives.
- Positive attitude and self-motivated.
